Coastlines are poorly understood and facing threats from pollution, climate change and invasive species. 'Shoresearch' was created to learn more about these delicate habitats and now contibutes to designating Marine Conservation Zones. Shoresearch trains volunteers in identification and monitoring techniques so you can become a valuable coastline explorer!

PROJECT SOCIALS

FRO_squares_white_edited_edited.png

Shoresearch is The Wildlife Trusts' national citizen science survey of the intertidal shore, the exciting world of extremes where the sea meets the land! If you live in or are visiting the UK, it's a great way to explore the local coast, learn more about the wildlife found there and add to a better understanding of this important habitat.
