Seaweed in the UK is facing three major threats: rising sea temperature, invasive species and ocean acidification. As home to a globally important diversity of seaweed species, 'The Big Seaweed Search' was launched to track and understand changes in the UK's native seaweed distributions. You can help in this venture, by submitting your observations via an easy survey.
